Hello, my name is Karen Aguirre and I’m passionate about the nail care and beauty industry overall. I decided to start this blog due to the lack of information about healthy products that we can use on a daily basis, and what we can do to live a healthier lifestyle. I strive to educate people about being eco-conscious and eco-friendly in everything we do. I hope that I can help out pass along my knowledge and a little bit of information about healthy living and recommendations on some of the eco-friendly products I use every day.
Most of my life I was in the corporate world working for a few big corporations in the accounting department. But, one day I decided to leave my comfort zone and become my own boss. I started an Eco-Friendly Nail Salon in 2017 in Las Vegas with a mission to provide high-quality nail care services. While at it, I learned so much about healthy living by attending seminars, workshops, and connecting with wonderful individuals in the health and beauty industry. But, my journey really began 19 years ago when I decided to attend a beauty institute when I completed my nail tech license while working full time for a corporation.
After relocating from NYC to Las Vegas Nevada I worked at a company as an Accounts Payable Manager for three years, but in 2017 I was part of a big lay off in the company. I used this as a stepping stone for starting what I believed would be a unique business opportunity and finally pursue my passion of being own boss and an entrepreneur in the beauty industry.
I set up my own Eco-Friendly Nail Spa which focuses on creating an environment that benefits the consumer’s well being, the staff and the planet. I wanted to offer clients a service free of toxic chemicals often found in many nail salons while providing a valuable service to healthy individuals and people with health issues. I work consistently in selecting the best ingredients and products that are non-toxic, natural and organic.
